Sikkim Dzongri Trek
 

Itinerary
Day 01 Pick up from Bagdora / NJP (train Station or Silguri, jeep to Darjeeling passing through several tea estates on the way. Drive to Darjeeling. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at Darjeeling
Day 02 Gangtok
Full Days sightseeing in and around Gangtok and time to prepare trekking permits etc. O/N at hotel.
Day 03 Gangtok - Yuksom
After breakfast drive to Yuksom. 139 kms, 6 hrs. Alt, 1,700m. Transfer to your designated hotel. Overnight at Yuksam.
Day 04

Yuksom - Tsokha
Trek begins.Trek from Yuksom to Tsokha. 12 kms, 6 hrs,alt. 3000 m. O/N at camp.
Day 05 Tsokha - Dzongri
Trek from Tsokha to Dzongri, 9kms., 5 hrs., alt. 4000m.O/N at camp.
Day 06

Dzongri
Excrusion of Dzongri alt.4,500m.O/N at camp. (Acclimatization)

Day 07 Dzongri - Dzongri La
Dzongri -Halt. Dzongri La alt.4,500m. Halt.
Day 08 Dzongri - Tsokha
Trek back to Tsokha. O/N at camp.
Day 09 Tsokha - Yuksom
Trek back from Tsokha to Yuksam. Transfer to hotel. O/N at Yuksam.
Day 10 Yuksom - Darjeeling
Drive Yuksam to Darjeeling via Pelling. On the way visit Pemayangtse monastery.Transfer to hotel. O/N at hotel.
Day 11 Darjeeling
Early morning visit Tiger Hill for sunrise. On the way back visit Yiga Choling Monastery. After breakfast visit the Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Zoological Park, Tibetan Self Help Centre and a Tea garden. O/N at hotel.
Day 12 Darjeeling - Bagdogra
Drive to Bagdogra for onward journey.
